The BJP leaders have underscored the need to redraw the party’s outreach towards the tribal communities as well as Other Backward Classes and other caste groups in urban constituencies in Jharkhand.
The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has drawn a two-pronged strategy of sharpening its outreach in the tribal community and retaining support of the urban electorate by highlighting the deficiencies of the state government. The State BJP in this connection on Wednesday had an organisational meeting at Jamshedpur, Hatia and Ranchi assembly segment.
Union Agriculture and Rural Development Minister and Election In-charge of Jharkhand, Shivraj Singh Chouhan addressed Vijay Sankalp Sabha in Hatia Assembly. During this, Chouhan said that today is not a day to welcome leaders but a day to honor the workers. The workers of Bharatiya Janata Party are the foundation stones. The party gets strength from the workers. At the same time, Chouhan said that I am not a guest, I am uncle and brother, a member of your family. We all are a family, so we have to work with intimacy. In the coming assembly elections, the government of dishonest people has to be uprooted and Jharkhand has to be saved.
Chouhan, while attacking the Hemant Soren government, said that the Soren government has reached the peak of corruption in Jharkhand. A new definition of corruption is being coined every day in the state. The public is suffering from scams and corruption in the state. Chouhan said that crime is also at its peak in Jharkhand. Citing NCRB data, he said that in the last four and a half years, 7,812 murders took place. 7,115 rapes took place in his government. 6,937 kidnappings took place on the land of Jharkhand. There were 8,592 riots. There were 2,721 robberies. There were 485 dacoities. And 2,73,261 crimes were committed. Criminals in this government break into pieces not one but 50 pieces and throw them away.
This government should be ashamed, which cannot protect the honour of sisters and daughters. It insults them. Not only this, in this government, infiltrators are marrying tribal daughters and grabbing lands and are even fighting elections in their name.
Assam government's Chief Minister and Jharkhand BJP's Assembly Election Co-incharge Himanta Biswa Sarma today addressed the Ranchi Assembly constituency's Karyakarta Samman and Assembly level Vijay Sankalp Sabha at Swagatham Banquet Hall in Harmu Ranchi.
He honoured the hard work of the workers from the booth level and said that the Modi government for the third time is the result of the hard work of the party's booth level workers.
He said that we do not have to rest now. We have to work hard. We have to go door to door and expose the failures of the Hemant government, breach of promise, corruption, atrocities against women, ruined law and order, looting of mines, minerals, sand, stones.
He targeted Hemant Soren and said that Hemant Soren does not want the development of the people, he only wants his chair.
