Madhya Pradesh is currently shivering with northern winds. Bhopal witnessed the coldest night of the season on Thursday. The night temperature has dropped below 15 degrees in almost all the cities of the state.

Cold is coupled with fog and due to chilling icy winds, the lowest night temperature was recorded in Pachmarhi, Mandla, Umaria and Rajgarh.

The Meteorological Department has warned of further drop in night temperature in the coming days.

According to meteorologists, the intense cold in Madhya Pradesh has increased due to snowfall in Kashmir.
