BHEL has contributed significantly to the industrial development and economic progress of the country. The equipment manufactured here are manufactured as per stringent quality standards and there is no compromise with the set standards anywhere in the production process. This is the reason why customers have full faith in BHEL products and BHEL has maintained the trust of customers in all the areas, said SM Ramanathan, Executive Director, BHEL, Bhopal

He was addressing a meeting with probationary IPS officers of 76 RR held at Administrative Building. Earlier, these officers met Harish Kumar Sahu, Commandant, CISF, BHEL, Bhopal. Sahu briefed them about the security arrangements of the unit. Ramanathan said that BHEL has established its credibility in the power sector, industry, transport, nuclear energy, non-conventional energy and hydroelectric power as well as in defence and other new areas. It is a matter of pride for BHEL to be associated with defence along with playing an important role in the industrial progress of the country.

Congratulating the young IPS officers for choosing the career of serving the country, he said that BHEL holds a special place in the field of engineering not only in the country but also at the international level. It is a matter of pleasure for BHEL that they can take as much benefit of the technology and experience available in this institute as possible.

He told all the young police officers that they should meet people as much as possible and work hard. For success in life, it is important that we work hard honestly, understand the social structure and work in the interest of the country. Welcoming the IPS officers, BK Singh, General Manager (HR) discussed about the contribution of BHEL, Bhopal in the industrial, cultural and social sector.

He said that BHEL is not just a factory but an institution which has contributed to the overall development of Madhya Pradesh and especially Bhopal.

On this occasion, RK Agarwal, General Manager (SOM) informed the officers about the various products manufactured by BHEL, Bhopal and the facilities available here and also told about the various projects and industries for which BHEL has supplied equipment in India and various countries of the world. He also informed about the diversification done by BHEL in accordance with the changing business requirements. On this occasion, a presentation was given by Mohit Shah, Senior Deputy General Manager (CPX).
