In a landmark development for medical services in Bokaro, the Bokaro General Hospital (BGH), operating under the aegis of Bokaro Steel Limited (BSL), has commenced CT Coronary Angiogram (CTCAG) services in its Radiology Department. This advanced diagnostic procedure marks a significant step forward in the hospital's capabilities.
CTCAG is a non-invasive procedure performed on an outpatient basis. It is pivotal in diagnosing blockages, plaques, or congenital anomalies in the coronary vessels that supply blood to the heart. The availability of this test at BGH is expected to greatly enhance the diagnosis and treatment of coronary heart disease, benefiting a large number of patients.
Commenting on this development, M.K. Dhan, the Chief of Communications at BSL, expressed optimism about the impact of this new service. "The introduction of CTCAG at BGH represents a substantial boost to our medical infrastructure. It aligns with our ongoing efforts to provide state-of-the-art medical facilities to our community," he said.
The implementation of CTCAG services at BGH underscores the hospital's commitment to adopting advanced medical technologies, ensuring that patients receive the best possible care without the need for invasive procedures. This initiative is expected to significantly improve patient outcomes and reinforce BGH's position as a leading healthcare provider in the region.
