Today, on October 26, the Automated Biochemistry & Hematology Analyzer and High-Pressure Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) machines were inaugurated at BGH by the BSL- Director-in-Charge, Birendra Kumar Tiwari. Also present were C.R. Mahapatra, Executive Director (Projects and Additional Charge Materials Management); Suresh Rangani, Executive Director (Finance & Accounts); P.K. Rath, Executive Director (SRU); BGH In-Charge Dr. B.B. Karunamay; Chief Medical Officer Dr. Anand Kumar; along with Dr. Aninda Mandal, Dr. Varsha Ghanekar, Dr. Shravan Kumar, Dr. Surendra Kumar, Dr. Gajendra Kumar Singh, and other senior medical personnel.
The newly installed Automated Biochemistry & Hematology Analyzer and HPLC machine will greatly aid in the early detection of genetic blood disorders like thalassemia and sickle cell anemia.
