Along with this, an agreement has been reached on a one-year extension of their service. An agreement has also been reached on reservation for the recruitment of Home Guards and Forest Guards. The MLAs have said that a proposal will be brought in the Cabinet regarding the decisions.

At Soochna Bhawan police lathicharged on the protesting mob that was not ready to listen to the authorities. Several protestors were said to be injured in the clash while the police were continuously trying to control them. The agitators sat on the road and blocked it. However, on the assurance that their demands will be put before the CM, they returned to Morhabadi ground where they were camping.
