About three thousand youth and women from various social organizations and parties joined ruling party of the State Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) at Chief Minister, Champai Soren’s residence on Sunday in the State Capital.

During the the party joining programme, everyone expressed faith in the leadership of JMM Supremo and former Chief Minister, Dishom Guru Shibu Soren and JMM Working president and former Chief Minister, Hemant Soren.

During this, CM Champai Soren welcomed everyone into the party by wearing party belts. On the occasion Soren said that it is because of the agitators that we have got this State of Jharkhand and the way Hemant Soren was working as our young Chief Minister, he was working for people could get maximum benefit of the State Government run welfare schemes in the remote villages. Attckin on main opposition party, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) he said that seeing the growing popularity of Hemant Soren the BJP government at the Center has acted as a part of a conspiracy to send him to jail.

“Today this meeting is the beginning of a mass movement. It will take a bigger form in the coming days and the people of the State remove BJP from the Center in the upcoming general elections,” said Soren.

The Party's General Secretary cum Spokesperson, Vinod Kumar Pandey, present on the occasion, also welcomed the youth by wearing them party belts. On the occasion he said that in the coming days, even with new members, the party will work to make people aware at every level against the dictatorship of the Central Government.

JMM Ranchi District President, Mustaq Alam said that the way the BJP Government at the Center has done the work of torturing our young Chief Minister, Hemant Soren and sending him to jail, in the same sequence today you are seeing thousands of youth and women joining the party. Expressing faith in him, he has accepted the membership of the party. “This trend will continue in the coming days. We will continuously raise our voice in the interest of the people of Jharkhand by connecting people with the party,” he added.

Rajya Sabha MP, Dr Mahua Manjhi, Member, Sushila Ekka, District Vice President, Ashwani Sharma, Kalam Azad, Ramanand Bedia, Ramsharan Tirkey, Dr Talkeshwar Mahato, District Spokesperson, Arvind Singh Dewal, Bablu Ram and other officials were mainly present in the meeting ceremony.

Those who took membership in the party mainly included Alvin Lakra of Tribal Army, Vikas Tirkey, Amarnath Lakra, Anshu Lakra of Jhapa, Bachan Oraon, Yogesh Bhagat, Shashi Tuti of Jharkhand Christian Youth Association, Ramkumar Nayak, Deepak Lakra, Lakshmi of AJSU.
