Ample possibility of development in minerals, tourism in Bundelkhand

MP and State President VD Sharma said that there are immense possibilities of development of industries in minerals, tourism and other fields in Bundelkhand region. Madhya Pradesh has made a distinctive mark in the country in the field of cleanliness. Special efforts are being made to develop Khajuraho as a film city.

An integrated steel plant will be set up in Niwari at a cost of Rs 3200 crore

JP Agarwal of Pacific Meta-Steel said that they are setting up an integrated steel plant in Niwari at a cost of Rs 3200 crore. This will provide employment to 10 thousand people and the government will also get revenue of about Rs 1 thousand crore per year. He also shared the plan to start activities in the medical sector in Madhya Pradesh.

Investors appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister Dr. Yadav. Sunil Bansal of Bansal Group, who came to the conclave, said that Bansal Group is working in the medical industry sector. The group has started the facility of kidney transplant in Sagar. Bansal proposed 4 super specialty hospitals, a five star hotel and an investment of Rs 1350 crore in the energy sector.

Sagar Group industrialist Sudhir Agarwal said that his units are working in Tamot near Bhopal. Sagar Group is making efforts for new investment in the textile sector. The group is working in all the areas of education, health, food, clothing, housing. His group plans to invest about Rs 1400 crore in the dyeing and processing sector, which will create employment opportunities. He said that his group works on the principle of co-operation, not competition.

Madhya Bharat Agro's Pankaj Oswal said that his group has made the maximum investment in Madhya Pradesh. The industry friendly policy of investment and the supportive attitude of the government are incomparable. His group is producing single super phosphate in Sagar. Oswal informed that his group has plans to invest Rs. 500 crore near Banda in Sagar.

Principal Secretary, Industrial Policy and Investment Promotion Raghvendra Kumar Singh said that after 3 divisional conclaves in the state, Sagar Regional Industry Conclave is being held today. Interactive sessions have also been held this year in Bengaluru, Coimbatore, Mumbai and Kolkata. Madhya Pradesh is the second largest state in the country from an industrial point of view, India's largest solar power plant has been established here. The state has vast possibilities for the development of industries in many sectors. The state is favorable for investors due to important work being done from the point of view of infrastructure. Due to the industry policies of the state government, industrialists are interested in setting up industries in Madhya Pradesh.

 

Additional Chief Secretary Shri Sanjay Dubey provided information about the state policies prepared for the development of industries in the information technology sector. He said that Madhya Pradesh is the most favorable state from the point of view of setting up a data centre. Shri Dubey gave information about the activities conducted in the IT sector.

Principal Secretary Minerals Shri Sanjay Kumar Shukla gave detailed information about the mineral wealth available in the state and the industries operating there. Shri Shukla gave a detailed presentation on the possibilities of mineral based industries in Madhya Pradesh.
