An alumni conference was organised by the Panini Alumni Council at Maharishi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University, at the Yogeshwar Krishna Bhavan in Ujjain on Saturday.
Vice-Chancellor Prof Vijay Kumar CG presided over the inaugural session and highlighted the contribution of the Alumni Council to the upgrade and progress of the university. He urged alumni to stay connected with their alma mater.
Registrar Prof Dilip Soni emphasised that alumni reflect the institution in society and can inspire current students through contributions across various fields. The preamble was presented by the Chairman of the Council, Shreyas Koranne, Assistant Professor at Government Sanskrit College, Ujjain.In the second session, alumni from across the country presented ideas and suggestions. Prominent attendees included Subhash Chandra Joshi, Council Vice-President, PN Upadhyay, Treasurer, Mahesh Chandra Sharma, Haripriya Shukla, and Garima Dave.
The conference was marked by visible enthusiasm among alumni, eager to reconnect and share memories. It was an emotional reunion for many, meeting after a long time. The programme was conducted by Secretary Shailendra Verma, with gratitude expressed by Council Member Rahul Sharma. University professors and students also interacted with the alumni.
