AISECT successfully hosted a conference focused on North Eastern States at Hotel Kamarupa, Ganeshguri, Guwahati, Assam. The event brought together policy makers, educators, industry leaders and social entrepreneurs to address the challenges of the region and explore innovative approaches for educational and economic development.
The conference was inaugurated by Bhabesh Kalita, State President, BJP Assam. He emphasized on the transformational potential of skill development.
Other dignitaries present at the conference included BK Singha, Director, RDSDE; Hanif Noorani, ACS, Mission Director, ASDM; Narendra Pratap Singh, DGM, Northeast India, SBI HQ Northeast and Santosh Chaubey, Chairman, AISECT Group and Chancellor, Rabindranath Tagore University.
The conference also witnessed the release of AISECT’s North East Profile and CSR Report highlighting the work done by AISECT in skill development and employment generation. The highlight of the event was the exchange of MoUs by National Centre for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (NCSDE), thereby strengthening partnerships with regional institutions to enhance skills, education and entrepreneurship in the Northeast.
Additionally, job offer letters were provided to selected trained participants, reinforcing AISECT's commitment to enhance employability.
