A dedicated team from AIIMS Bhopal, under the guidance of Prof. (Dr.) Ajai Singh, Executive Director, conducted a successful outreach activity on 18.07.2024 at the District Hospital in Raisen. This initiative is part of AIIMS Bhopal's ongoing commitment to extending healthcare services to rural populations in the neighboring districts of Bhopal, reinforcing its dedication to the state and the region.
During this outreach event, a total of 94 patients were attended to in the OPD by the AIIMS Bhopal team. The Pediatrics department, under the leadership of Dr. Nehil Nigam, Senior Resident, provided care to 70 patients. These cases included a wide range of medical conditions such as acute febrile illness, severe anemia, rickets, severe dehydration, colicky pain, and a significant case of a large renal calculus.
In addition, the Department of Community and Family Medicine, represented by Dr. Ananthan, Senior Resident, and Dr. Sanskriti Kalura, Junior Resident, consulted with 24 patients.
