The lights were switched off at the time of cane charging the guest teachers protesting in Bhopal on Wednesday night, alleged the guest teachers.

The protestors alleged that they were beaten in the dark so that the cane chargers could not be identified.

The videos of the  cane chargers   surfaced on social media on the intervening night of Wednesday. In this, the screams of the teachers are heard in the dark. After the  cane chargers  , the protesters returned.

The TT Nagar police station has registered an FIR against the state president of the Guest Teachers Association KC Pawar and BM Khan, Mukesh Joshi, Santosh and others associated with the organization.

In fact, on Gandhi Jayanti, guest teachers from all over the state had gathered at Ambedkar Maidan at Second Stop in Bhopal to demand regularization. The guest teachers were raising slogans, 'We have come to occupy and will leave after occupying.'

This slogan is being considered a response to the statement of School Education Minister Rao Uday Pratap Singh, in which he had said - If you come as our guest, will you occupy the house?

Guest teacher Ravikant Gupta from Sidhi district said, 'The police came to talk at around 8.30 pm. They said that your delegation has to meet the officials of the concerned department. We said, whoever wants to talk should come here.

There was a clash between the police and the guest teachers

when the guest teachers were moving forward to surround the CM House, the police put up barricades to stop them. There was also a clash and jostling with the police. The protest continued till late night. At 8 pm on Wednesday, the police suddenly  cane chargers  the guest teachers.

A banner was also put up, which read, 'Rioters, your gathering has been declared illegal. Disperse effective bullets will be fired.' When the banner was opposed, it was removed.

The police removed the guest teachers from the road. After this, the protesters went towards the Congress office on foot.

Guest teachers said, we were reciting Sunder Kand. Then the police switched off the lights. After some time they started using lathis. We ran away through different routes.

Police chased them, there was a stampede due to the sudden lathi charge. Guest teachers from all over the state had gathered at Ambedkar Maidan in Bhopal.

ACP Chandrashekhar Pandey said, FIR has been registered against four named persons and others in TT Nagar police station. The demonstration was being done without permission.

At the same time, regarding the banner of firing bullets, he said that the intention of firing bullets was not that we will fire bullets. Later that banner was removed. This is being unnecessarily blown out of proportion.
