Adhunik Power and Natural Resources Limited (APNRL), a prominent power generation company, recently honoured 14 meritorious students from five villages for their outstanding performance in the JAC Board, CBSE, and ICSE 10th and 12th examinations. The felicitation ceremony took place at the company's Sankalp Bhawan campus.
The honoured students, including Akash Nayak, Amrit Hansda, Asha Hansda, Julie Nayak, Jyoti Murmu, Payal Nayak, Suraj Baske, and Souvik Mandal, hailed from the villages of Shrirampur, Padampur, Bikanipur, Balidih, and Chhota Hariharpur. They were accompanied by their families to the event, where they received citations and gifts in recognition of their academic achievements. Other honorees included Sushant Mandal, Sapna Baske, Parvati Hembram, Savita Baske, Anup Murmu, and Shiva Majhi.
M N Singh, Head of Operations and Maintenance at APNRL, served as the chief guest and presented certificates to the students. In his address, Singh emphasized the importance of recognizing and encouraging children's accomplishments to inspire them to excel further. "When children perform well in any field, they deserve respect and incentives. This motivation helps them strive for excellence," Singh stated.
The ceremony was also graced by Joba Mandal, Principal of Upgraded School - Padampur, Harendra Pathak, Principal of Upgraded School - Hariharpur, and Lakshmi Murmu, a Panchayat Committee member. They, too, honored the students and shared words of encouragement, filling the young achievers with energy and enthusiasm.
Corporate Communications team members Baljeet Sansoa and Anil Sardar attended the event, while Sanjeet Sinha delivered the vote of thanks. Concluding the program, Sinha highlighted the company's commitment to such meaningful initiatives, stating, "These efforts by APNRL will encourage village children, boost their morale, and pave the way for them to bring glory to the state and the country in the future."
