Ability to seek Sadguru, one of the 3 invaluable gifts Given by God to man: Brahmachari Soumyananda

Jagadguru Shankaracharya had said that God has given three invaluable gifts to man. First – human body, second – desire to know God and third – the ability to seek Sadguru. These are three priceless gifts through which man can bless his life. But due to his own reluctance, man remains bent upon destroying his own life. Brahmachari Soumyananda said these things today while addressing the Sunday satsang organized at Yogada Satsang Ashram.

He said that if we pay attention to these three priceless gifts given by Jagadguru Shankaracharya, then these three things are very important to make spiritual life meaningful. Like- first, human body – there is only one human body in the world through which Truth/God can be attained, Truth/God can never be attained through the animal body. Brahmachari Soumyananda said that only man has chakras, by awakening he can unite himself with God.

He said that God has given conscience only to man, on the basis of which man can attain God. He said that a person can attain God by living like this only after being free from diseases for ten lakh years. But this is not so easy. But on the basis of the path of Kriyayoga shown by our Gurudev, you or I can reduce this one million years. He said that only Kriya Yogis have the ability to attain God quickly, no one else.

Talking about the desire to know God as another priceless gift, he said that most people do not know what they are living for. But we are living. To collect comforts and luxuries for oneself and one's family, one loses this rare human body which has been given to attain God.

Whereas there are many people in the world who, despite taking care of their own and their family's well-being, do not give up the basic goal of life and step forward on the spiritual path and make their lives blessed.

He said that the relationship between you and the Guru should be kept extremely confidential. Never say that we have known the truth. We are moving very fast towards finding God. If you do this, you will move away from truth/God. He narrated a beautiful story on this. Once a devotee was wandering with God on the seashore and in the sky he was seeing scenes of his past life coming and going. He was seeing that when clouds of happiness had covered his life, two or two footprints were visible.

Among those footprints, one was visible of his and the other of God. But when clouds of sorrow came in his life, he saw that only one footprint was visible. Seeing this, he asked God that when there were clouds of happiness, you were with me, when clouds of sorrow came, why only one footprint was visible, why your footprints were not visible. God said that when there were clouds of sorrow, we held you in our lap.

Through this story, Brahmachari Soumyanand made it clear that God does not leave us alone in any situation, rather He is always with us and in times of sorrow, He takes extra care of us.

He said that there is a couplet of Kabir –

Everyone remembers in sorrow, no one does in happiness.

If one remembers in happiness, then why should there be sorrow?

Through this couplet also, Kabir has tried to tell that we need to remember God more in happiness than in sorrow, because when sorrow or difficult circumstances come in our life, God takes us in his lap. Are.

Brahmachari Soumyananda said that the third invaluable gift is the presence of Sadhguru in one's life. He said that no one can take even a single step without a Guru. Explaining the importance of Guru, he said that Kabir has also said about Guru –

This body is a storehouse of poison, a mine of Guru's nectar.

If you get a Guru, even then your life will be cheap.

He said that this body is full of poison, whereas the Guru is a mine of nectar. Therefore, if you get a Guru even after giving a head, then consider it cheap. He said that you and I are fortunate to be under the tutelage of the great gurus of Yogda. Our Guru loves us all immensely without any desire, because He is seeing the God hidden in us and wants that the people associated with Him should reach that God easily.

He said that when any incarnate man comes into this world, he has to face a lot of suffering, which a normal person cannot bear. But he suffers for the welfare of all of us. He presented another line of Kabir before everyone –

Do seven Samad's massages, all the writings are done.

Paper the entire earth, so that Hari's praises are not written.

Kabir says that if the ink of the seven seas is made, if a pen is made with the help of all the forests on the earth and the entire earth is given the form of paper, still the importance of God cannot be written.

Therefore, if we want to find that God, the great gurus of Yogada have taught us the techniques. According to him, it is better for us to live our lives. Only by doing this will we get protection from our gurus.

He said that Guru always wants to make his followers like him, so that you too can attain God. Even so, it is our right to attain God. But this is possible only when you also understand your duty.

He told the four duties of true devotees. First - Sincere loyalty towards the Guru - He is a true devotee who has true loyalty towards his Guru. Meaning, one has true loyalty towards the Guru and his associates and those who follow in their footsteps.

Second – Obedience – one follows the paths shown by the Guru, such as his lectures and written orders. Third – Visualize the Guru in your spiritual eyes and fourth, have devotion towards your Guru without any pressure or conditions or any desire.

Brahmachari Soumyanand clearly said that a true devotee is the one who has the ability to surrender his existence to God or Guru. He finally said that you can attain God very easily through meditation, devotion and good deeds. Just keep trying, never let this effort slacken, you will find yourself achieving heights on the spiritual path.
