Ahead of the Delhi elections slated to be held in February next year, AAP will hold district party workers’ conference from November 11 to speed up poll preparations for Delhi assembly elections.
“In preparation for the upcoming Delhi Assembly elections, the AAP government has ramped up its grassroots outreach with a series of district conventions aimed at mobilizing widespread support. Led by AAP’s Convenor, Arvind Kejriwal, along with senior leaders, these conventions will unite booth-level, mandal-level, and district officers from 14 key districts across Delhi,” a statement by the AAP said.
Delhi Minister and AAP state Convenor Gopal Rai announced that the conventions will conclude on November 20. During a press conference, Rai stated, “The AAP is continuously active in preparing for the Delhi Assembly elections.”
He highlighted the party’s recent efforts, saying, “In the first phase, we succeeded in presenting the development work carried out by the Delhi government in each assembly constituency to the public through the ‘Aapka Vidhayak Aapke Dwar’ program.”
Following this initiative, he noted that AAP has now completed the formation of booth committees across Delhi, composed of volunteers committed to working for the upcoming assembly elections.
He announced, “Before Diwali, Kejriwal, along with senior leaders, successfully completed a padayatra in all constituencies across Delhi. The second phase of his padayatra in various assembly constituencies is currently underway.”
“Alongside the padayatra in different constituencies, to intensify preparations for the upcoming assembly elections and to uplift the morale of booth-level and mandal-level officers, the AAP will commence a District Officer Convention starting from November 11,” he stated.
