Many party workers including Aam Aadmi Party's state organization minister Sajjan Singh Parmar, state secretary Raisa Malik, minority wing state president Minhaj Alam were present in this demonstration led by Bhopal city president Harish Pathak.

City's president Harish Pathak said that if the state government is failing to stop the increasing crime in the state, then the responsible people should resign. Crimes against women are increasing day by day in the state.

Aam Aadmi party's state secretary Raisa Malik said that such atrocities have been committed against women and children which are shameful for humanity. The accused of these incidents should be punished as soon as possible. Law and order should be made strict so that such incidents can be curbed.

State Congress spokesperson Avneesh Bundela reached the police Commissioner's office along with Congress spokespersons Swadesh Sharma, Anand Jat, Mithun Ahirwar, Farhana Khan and former candidate of Govindpura assembly constituency Ravindra Sahu Jhumarwala and gave a memorandum to the Police Commissioner.

Congress leaders submitted a memorandum to take legal action against the school management regarding the incidents of sexual abuse of girls in Bhopal.

In the memorandum submitted to the Police Commissioner, it was told that on September 13, 2024, a school teacher sexually abused a nursery student studying in a private school located on Bhadbhada Road in the capital Bhopal. A report of this incident was lodged at Kamla Nagar police station by her parents on  September 14, 2024.

Bundela said that the school management has completely failed in providing security to the children as well as in discharging its duties. It has been found that the school management did not promptly inform the police about the incident. The act of the school management is a clear violation of Section 19/21 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.

Referring to another incident, it was told that in a private school located in Katara Hills of the capital Bhopal, a chemistry teacher sexually abused a class 10 student. These incidents are creating fear and anger as well as a feeling of insecurity among the parents of the children.

In this incident, along with the act committed by the accused, the school management is also unable to provide security to the children. The police was not informed about such an incident by the school management on its own discretion.

In relation to these incidents, cognizance has been taken against both the private schools and legal action has been demanded under section 19 and 21 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act 2012.
