The 63rd Pre- Subroto Cup Football Competition 2024-25 organised in Khelgaon, Ranchi concluded on July 22. As the chief guest for the closing-in cum prize distribution ceremony, Secretary of the State Government's School Education and Literacy Department Umashankar Singh, awarded the winning participants and encouraged the other participants taking part in the game
Jharkhand Education Project Director Aditya Ranjan, former SAI Director cum International Football Coach Sushil Kumar Verma, State Program Officer Dhirasen Soreng also attended the closing- in prize distribution ceremony.
In the final of the 63rd Pre- Subroto Cup Football Competition 2024-25, the Kolhan Division team became the champion in the under- 15 boys category competition. In the final match between North Chotanagpur and Santhal Division, Kolhan defeated Santhal by 4-3. Emmanuel of Kolhan Division received the Man of the Match award. Krishna Samad of Kolhan team received the Man of the Series award.
In the under- 17 boys category final competition, Santhal Paragana division won by defeating Kolhan by 1-0. In the under- 17 boys category Ayush Kisku of North Chotanagpur division got the Best Goalkeeper award. In the under- 17 girls category, South Chotanagpur division defeated North Chotanagpur division by 2-0 and won the title of the tournament. Lali Kumari got the Man of the Match award whereas Anushka Kumari got the Man of the Series award and Anisha Oraon got the Best Goalkeeper award.
