The police on Thursday arrested four more persons for their alleged involvement in the Hadwani riot. The police have so far arrested 78 accused for their alleged role in the violence which took place on February 8. The Nainital senior superintendent of police Prahlad Narayan Meena said that the accused have been identified as Ayaz Ahmad, Mohammad Samir, Javed Qureshi and Mohammad Firoz. The police arrested them after identifying them with the help of CCTV footage and evidence gathered during the investigation. He said that the police are continuously working to arrest all culprits involved in the Vanbhulpura violence that killed seven people, injured over 100 persons and led to property damage worth crores. Several teams are also searching for wanted accused in nearby states. The police have also released wanted posters of the alleged masterminds of the riot and wanted accused Abdul Malik and his son Abdul Moed in Nepal.
