A 22-year-old unmarried woman, was sexually assaulted and exploited by accused youth in Baghsewania area for past 2 years and recently he refused to marry the victim, accused has not been arrested yet.

Police said that the accused youth claiming to be an MBBS student, first proposed to the girl and later assured to marry her. When the student agreed, the young man went to the girl's house and sexually assaulted her.

Recently, after sexually exploiting her for almost two years, he refused to marry him. The girl reached the police station on Tuesday and complained about the matter. After registering the case of rape, the police have started searching for the accused.

Police said that the 22-year-old girl lives in the Bagsevania area and is studying in a college. Two years ago, at a wedding ceremony, the girl was introduced to a young man named Ankit Chauhan. Ankit told the girl that he is a resident of Sehore district and is studying MBBS at Gandhi Medical College, Bhopal. The acquaintance between the two soon turned into friendship and later developed a relationship.

After a few days, the young man proposed marriage to the girl. After this, there was a discussion between the family members of both and the matter of their marriage was decided.

Meanwhile, one day Ankit reached the girl's house. During this time the girl was alone in the house. The young man sexually assaulted the girl while saying that he would get married soon. After this he had physical relations with the girl at different places.

Recently, Ankit reached the girl's house and refused to marry her. The girl and her family tried to handle the matter but Ankit was not ready to marry the victim. The girl reached the police station on Tuesday and complained about the matter. The police have registered a case of rape and started investigation. The accused is a resident of Shahganj in Sehore district. The police team will soon leave for his arrest. Only after his arrest will it be possible to confirm whether he is an MBBS student or not.
