The dates for Jharkhand assembly elections have been announced. Elections will be held in two phases in the state. The first phase will be on November 13 and the second phase on November 20. At the same time, the results of the election will come on November 23.

After the announcement of the dates, Jharkhand Police has also started preparing for the elections, so that voting can be done peacefully in Naxal-affected areas. For this, 11 thousand paramilitary personnel of 119 companies will be deployed in Jharkhand. Out of which 91 paramilitary companies have come to Jharkhand. Jharkhand Police had demanded 590 companies of paramilitary forces from the Election Commission regarding security arrangements.

Three to five companies of paramilitary forces will be available to each district. These forces will be deployed in the tasks of flag march, area domination, checking etc., so that the general public can believe that the security arrangements are tight in view of the elections.

Lok Sabha elections 2024 were conducted peacefully in Jharkhand. Jharkhand Police had foiled all the violent plans of Naxals on the basis of its special strategy and conducted the elections peacefully. Now Jharkhand Police is facing the challenge of conducting the assembly elections peacefully. Jharkhand Police believes that Naxal violence in elections has become a thing of the past. Jharkhand Police will do a better job in the assembly elections too.
