Cataract surgeries of 102 patients were performed at Sewa Sadan on the 19th death anniversary of Sant Hirdaram Sahib ji today.

These included 49 male and 53 female eye patients. Most of the eye patients were from Bari and Bareilly areas.

Every year, on the birth anniversary (21 September) and death anniversary (21 December) of Paramhansa Sant Hirdaram Sahib Ji, Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital performs free surgeries.

It is noteworthy that since its establishment in 1987, Sewa Sadan Eye Hospital has examined eyes of about 3.5 million people and has performed about 3.50 lakh eye surgeries, out of which 70 percent are free.

Soon this hospital will be shifted to its huge building located at Aasaram Bapu Chauraha, Airport Road, where more eye patients can be served.
