Refresher training was given today to the state level master trainers related to IT in Jharkhand regarding the Lok Sabha elections 2024. Online training related to the app and portal issued by the Election Commission of India was given to the trainers through video conferencing from the auditorium located in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer. Additional Chief Electoral Officer, Jharkhand Neha Arora said that the app and portal released by the Election Commission of India will facilitate free and fair elections.
She said that through technology, voters can be targeted and urban voters can be informed and made aware about voting by reaching out to them. Through the app, facilities like including your name in the electoral list, knowing your polling station, getting information about the candidates contesting the elections can be availed at home. Answers to questions are also available through chatboard.
National Level Master Trainer Syed Nasir Jameel gave detailed information about the app and portal to everyone and gave detailed information about its importance and operation. He was given training on Voter Service Portal, NGSP Portal, Encore, C-Vigil App, ERO Net, Suvidha App and Portal, Permission, Candidate Affidavit Management, Voter Turnout etc. After today's training, the trained State Level Master Trainers will provide training on the application and portal of the Election Commission of India to the concerned personnel of their Lok Sabha constituencies.
State Level Master Trainers from Dhanbad, Giridih, Ranchi, Palamu, Sahebganj, Hazaribagh, Seraikela, Gumla, Bokaro, East Singhbhum were present in the training session.
