Prof KK Agarwal, President of South Asian University established by SAARC countries in New Delhi, paid a courtesy visit to Nepal's Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba in New Delhi on Monday.
During the meeting, he informed the Foreign Minister about the courses being conducted in the university as well as other activities. Agarwal informed her that this was the first and only university in South Asia run jointly by all SAARC, including India, Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Agarwal said the Professors teaching in the university and the students studying there are from SAARC member countries, so the atmosphere of the campus is filled with all the colours with unity in diversity.
