The Delhi BJP on Friday welcomed the High Court decision mandating the Delhi Government Health Department to sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Union Health Ministry by January 5 next year.
While sharing the news, South Delhi BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri said, “The Delhi High Court has directed the Arvind Kejriwal government to ensure that the MoU between Delhi’s Health Department and the Union Government Health Ministry is signed by January 5, 2025, regardless of the imposition of the model code of conduct.” Bidhuri announced that the path is now clear for the construction of hospitals, labs, and other facilities under the Ayushman Bharat Health Infrastructure Mission (PM-ABHIM) in Delhi while thanking Prime Minister Narendra Modi for allocating Rs 2,406 crore under the scheme for upgrading health infrastructure in Delhi.
