AAP Government's Ministers, MLAs, and volunteers on Tuesday took to the streets to register citizens for the ‘Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ and ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’
Similarly, on Wednesday too, many ministers, MLAs and volunteers including former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia will register people by setting up camps. On Monday, AAP Convenor Arvind Kejriwal commenced the registration drive for the schemes by personally registering a few beneficiaries.
Continuing the initiative, the registration drive for both schemes was extended across Delhi on Tuesday. Several Delhi Cabinet Ministers joined the campaign including Delhi Minister Saurabh Bharadwaj, who organized a camp in Shahpur Jat Village in Greater Kailash Assembly constituency, while Minister Imran Hussain facilitated registrations in Motia Khan, Gali Kasam, Ballimaran Assembly constituency.
Other leaders, including Minister Raghuvinder Shokeen, MLAs Sanjeev Jha, Vishesh Ravi, Ajesh Yadav, Kuldeep Kumar, and Rajesh Gupta, along with numerous volunteers, conducted camps to ensure maximum outreach.
AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal has instructed volunteers to ensure that no eligible beneficiary is left out of the registration process. Following these directives, volunteers are actively spreading awareness through public announcements using microphones in their respective areas. They are urging residents to visit the camps and register to avail themselves of the benefits of these schemes.
There is no deadline for registration under the 'Mukhyamantri Mahila Samman Yojana’ and ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’. The ruling party estimates that 35 to 40 lakh women may register for the ‘Mahila Samman Yojana’, while around 15 lakh senior citizens are expected to register under the ‘Sanjeevani Yojana’.
