BJP's national president outlines a focused approach for a decisive victory in the upcoming polls, relies on alliances and Modi's charisma
Discussing the future strategy for securing Modi's third win in 2024, Nadda emphasized that the people of the country are inclined to grant another opportunity to the Prime Minister, aiming to propel India into the category of developed nations. The outcome of state polls hinges on the faith in Modi's Guarantee, proving challenging for the opposition, lacking credibility and coherence. Nadda predicts that INDIA is facing obstacles due to regional egos, over-ambition, inner contradictions, and the control of the Gandhis over Congress.
BJP, symbolizing stability, and Modi, its epicenter, form a crucial 'Mantra' expected to play a dominant role in the 2024 polls, securing a larger number of Lok Sabha seats. Nadda criticized vested interests attempting to create divisions between North and South, asserting that such tactics will fail, especially with BJP's commitment to thwart divisive agendas.
Addressing losses in Telangana and Karnataka, Nadda optimistically anticipates a different voting dynamic at the national level in 2024. Despite setbacks in Himachal assembly polls, he plans to regain ground by winning all four Lok Sabha seats, counting on Modi's special connection with the state's people.
Nadda asserts BJP's readiness for the 2024 polls, highlighting ongoing efforts to secure victory in 150 parliamentary seats previously unclaimed by the party. The party aims to form new alliances, adopting a flexible approach in contrast to the opposition's internal struggles over seat sharing and common agenda.
Unlike Congress, BJP demonstrates commitment to generational change in states, evident in the smooth selection of Chief Ministers. Nadda commends the party's disciplined approach in fielding MPs, showcasing workers' readiness for sacrifice. Nadda emphasizes BJP's collaboration with RSS, a relationship dating back to the early nineties.
Nadda’s close association with Modi dates back to the early nineties when the latter was in charge of party affairs of Himachal and they used to move together on Lambretta scooter in Shimla.It has been a long, arduous journey for grassroots Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) worker and former students’ leader, 63-year-old Jagat Prakash Nadda who had been initially appointed the working president of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He is considered as a symbol of dynamism, perseverance, sobriety and maturity. Later he got elected to the post of national president of BJP on January 20,2020 and extension upto June,2024 due to state polls and general elections.
Nadda's journey from an RSS worker to BJP's national president is marked by his faith in Modi and Shah. He credits his success to them, acknowledging the challenge of matching Shah's standards. Nadda's exit from Himachal politics in 2010, due to differences with Dhumal, provided an opportunity to work in the organisation.
In the post-Himachal assembly polls in 2017, Nadda's unaffected reaction to not being chosen as CM reaffirmed party leadership's faith in him. Modi and Shah's strategic planning, evident in advance announcements, positioned Anurag Thakur and Nadda for significant roles.
Nadda's association with Jayaprakash Narayan's Bihar movement and RSS shaped his political career. Guided by Vajpayee, Shekhawat, and Advani, Nadda is recognized for his moderate and open-minded approach. Nadda dismisses the opposition's caste census ploy, anticipating Modi's vision of focusing on youth, women's development, farmers, and the poor to be the predominant takeaway in the 2024 polls.
Nadda grew under the influence of stalwarts such as Atal Bihari Vajpayee, Bhairon Singh Shekhawat and LK Advani, who guided him at every step of his political career. He is known for his qualities of being moderate and open-minded.
In the end, while negating the opposition ploy of caste census, Nadda feels that BJP will take appropriate decision national caste census but Modi’s vision of four castes will be predominant Takeaway in 2024 pols who feels that youth, development of women, farmers and poor will take India to next level in future.
