Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the state government has decided to include women in the age group of 21 to 23 years in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. Along with this, the women who have less than 5 acres of land but own tractors have not been able to join the scheme will also be included in the scheme. These women will also be given Rs 1000 and later the increased amount will be given as the amount increases. Chief Minister Chouhan was discussing with the representatives of the media after planting saplings in the garden located in Shyamala Hills along with Ladli Bahnas of 21-23 years age group.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that 10th of every month is fixed for release of funds in the account of Ladli Bahnas. Next month, on August 10, the amount of the scheme from Rewa will be deposited in the accounts of Ladli Bahnas living in all the villages and wards of the state. Meanwhile, the campaign for registration of Ladli Bahnas of 21 to 23 years will also start. He extended many best wishes to the women and said that, if they remain happy then my life will become meaningful.
Chief Minister Chouhan said that five yatras will start in the state from July 25.
All these yatras will reach Sagar by carrying soil and river water from different villages. The foundation stone for the construction of Lord Sant Ravidas ji’s temple will be laid in Sagar on August 12.
Chief Minister Chouhan planted saplings along with his sisters as a symbol of connecting the women of the age group of 21 to 23 in the Mukhyamantri Ladli Bahna Yojana. The Chief Minister planted saplings of Peepal, Banyan, Kadamba, Karanj, Mahua, Khirni, Mango and Neem. Mrs. Sudha Rathore, Radhika, Shaheen, Afreen, Kanchan, Radhika, Tanu, Ganeshi, Aaradhya, Nancy and Pooja Nayak participated in the plantation. The Chief Minister accompanied by Anjana Pethia, her husband Santosh Pethia, sons Anutosh and Anvesh Pethia planted saplings on her birthday. Former corporator Mahesh Makwana along with his family members Smt. Manju Makwana, Riddhi and Kishore Makwana also planted saplings on his birthday. Kamal Baghel, Sushri Sunanda and Anaya Baghel also planted saplings.
