Vishwakarma Jayanti was celebrated with great enthusiasm today at BHEL, Bhopal. On this occasion, Vipul Agrawal, General Manager, Thermal, Fabrication and Additional Charge, DTG was present as the chief guest. All the general managers, union representatives and a large number of employees were also present. This time, on Vishwakarma Jayanti, tableaux were prepared in various manufacturing sections of the factory on the theme "BHEL ki uchi udaan, Harit Urja, Vande Bharat and Chandrayaan.

Agrawal, along with jury members Amitabh Dubey, GP Baghel and S Chandrasekhar, General Managers, observed the tableaux prepared in the manufacturing blocks and performed puja. He said that the divine architect Lord Vishwakarma is revered as the god of artisans, engineers and craftsmen. His immense creativity and skills have served as an inspiration for generations.

Agarwal, while giving best wishes to all the employees on behalf of the Executive Director, Rajeev Singh, wished Vishwakarma Jayanti to all the employees and their family members, said that the organisation is going through a difficult phase right now but the employees of BHEL are prepared to face any difficult situations. He urged everyone that we all have to work hard with equal enthusiasm and commitment as a team to achieve the turnover target of the year.

At the end of the program, awards were also announced for the tableaux prepared in the factory. In the product category, TCB Group won the first prize, STM won the second prize and SCR Group won the third prize. Similarly, in the service category, HRD won the first prize, PRM won the second prize and CMX won the third prize. In the 5S category, PRM won the first, TCB-second and SCR-third prizes while CMX and GJB won the consolation prizes. Its jury included Rajeev Sarna, Heera Bharani and RK Agrawal, Additional General Manager.
