Union Bank of India, Ranchi organized 105th Foundation Day Program on 24th November 2023 here on Friday. Union Bank of India staff members, retired staff members, customers and their family members attended the programme. The programme was formally started by lighting of the lamp by the chief guest of the programme, Padma Shri recipient Ashok Bhagat, Zonal Head Baij Nath Singh, Deputy Zonal Head Vijay Kumar Roy and Deputy Zonal Head Alok Kumar and Regional Head Madam Sonalika.

On this occasion, many cultural programmes were organized and the Managing Director and CEO of the Bank, Mani Manimekhalai, addressed the function online to all the stakeholders, customers, staff members and their family members and greeted the gathering and delivered hearty greetings on the 105th Foundation Day. Five new products (Udaan, ICCW, Uni Pay Plus, Kisan Tatkal and Swanidhi) were also launched by the MD and CEO.

As the Chief Guest of the programme, social worker and Padma Shri awardee Ashok Bhagat congratulated all the staff members of Union Bank on their Foundation Day and shared the golden history and achievements of 105 years with the distinguished guests and staff members present there. On this occasion, Zonal Head Baijnath Singh heartily congratulated all the staff members, retired staff members, customers, the family members and expressed his gratitude to all the customers while presenting the bank's development journey and facts and figures pertaining to the development journey of the Bank. At the end of the program, a vote of thanks was proposed by Sonalika, Regional Head, Ranchi.
