Principal Secretary (Home) Sanjay Prasad, on Wednesday, instructed the trainee Indian Police Services (IPS) cadre officers to work in the interest of the general public while ensuring strict implementation of the rule of law to maintain peace.
“Resolve the problems of the public with transparency,” Prasad said while asking the trainee IPS officers to take even small incidents seriously at their place of posting and reach the spot to collect first hand information.
Prasad made these remarks while meeting 16 trainee IPS officers of the 74th RR year 2020-21 batch of UP cadre in his office at Lok Bhavan here on Wednesday.
Prasad said that IPS officers of the year 2017 batch were given the responsibility of superintendent of police in various districts. He also said that the trainee officers should leave no stone unturned to create a better image among the common citizens through their better working style and public dialogue. He wished the trainee IPS officers a bright future and said that they all should come true to the test of people's aspirations in the future and get maximum public trust while discharging their duties and responsibilities with full dedication.
Besides Prasad, Additional Director General of Police (Training) Sanjay M Tarde, Secretary (Home) AV Rajamouli and BD Palsan were also present in the meeting. The trainee officers who met Prasad included Abhijeet Kumar, Aditya Bansal, Amarinder Singh, Amrit Jain, Arun Kumar Singh, Kauvar Akash Singh, Manoj Kumar Rawat, Pushkar Verma, Shubham Agarwal, Vikram Dahiya, Aditya, Anjali Vishwakarma , Anshika Verma, Kiran Yadav, Neetu and Shavya Goyal.
