They are pre-paid conspiratoral polls, not exit polls: Sajjan

Saturday, 02 December 2023 | Staff Reporter | BHOPAl

Some exit polls shown on the channels regarding the assembly election results are not exit polls, but conspiratorial pre-paid polls of the Congress and the BJP to break the morale of the people of the state by confusing and misleading them said Former minister and Congress MLA Sajjan Singh Verma, while addressing a press conference held at the state Congress headquarters today.

Sajjan Singh Verma said that the BJP has hatched a failed conspiracy to grab power and is plotting to create an atmosphere in its favor by putting pressure on the employees and officers of the state. But this conspiracy of BJP will never succeed. Because the people of the state have voted for the Congress Party's victory with an overwhelming majority and for change in the state.

He said that BJP is making an unsuccessful attempt to break the morale of Congress workers by using this arbitrary pre-paid poll to make political gains. But each and every worker of the Congress will live up to the expectations of the people with all his intelligence, discretion, morale and courage and the government will be formed with the overwhelming majority of the Congress.

Verma said that some exit polls have declared the Congress party victorious, while some exit polls have shown the BJP's lead. Expressing surprise over the exit poll of Aaj Tak news channel and Axis, he said that two editors of Aaj Tak news channel, Rahul Kanwal and Rajdeep Sardesai, have released a video and refused to accept this exit poll as correct. When Aaj Tak editors themselves are rejecting the exit polls, then there is no question of anyone else accepting them.

Similarly the exit poll of News-24-Chanakya has been rejected by his own channel's editor Rajeev Ranjan. Congress party is getting a clear majority in the exit polls of AVP News, Times Now, Dainik Bhaskar and Lokpal. Lokpal's exit poll shows Congress party getting 142 seats. He said that it has also been made clear in the survey of C Voter that if the closely contested seats go in favor of Congress, then the Congress party can win even 165 seats.

It would be known that in the Karnataka elections, Lokpal had conducted the most accurate survey and given 134 seats to Congress and Congress had got 135 seats.

In the exit poll given by the country's prestigious newspaper Dainik Bhaskar, the Congress Party is forming the government with a clear majority.

Verma said journalists who are an important fourth pillar of democracy should find out for themselves whether Axis My India CEO Pradeep Gupta is a resident of Varasivani in Balaghat district of MP or not and his entire family is a member of RSS.
