Rani Durgavati sacrificed herself for Swaraj and Swadharma

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has said that Amazon Durgavati sacrificed her life for Dharma and Swaraj. The ‘Gaurav Yatra’ of Veerangana Rani Durgavati, a symbol of India’s valour and self-respect, will be taken out from 5 places, which will reach Shahdol on June 26. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will conclude the Gaurav Yatra on June 27 in Shahdol.

Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan today started the Gaurav Yatra from Balaghat to take the story of bravery and sacrifice of Amazon Rani Durgavati to the masses. Union Minister of State for Steel and Rural Development Faggan Singh Kulaste left with the Gaurav Yatra from Balaghat. On this occasion, Home Minister Dr. Narottam Mishra, in-charge of Balaghat district and Minister for New and Renewable Energy Hardeep Singh Dang, Minister of State for AYUSH and Water Resources Ramkishore Nano Kavre, Backward Classes Commission Chairman Gaurishankar Bisen, MP Dhal Singh Bisen, Rajya Sabha members Kavita Patidar,  Pankaja Munde were present. Rani Durgavati Gaurav Yatras started today from 4 other places including Chhindwara, Singrampur in Damoh, Dhowhani in Sidhi and Kalinjar Fort in UP. These yatras will pass through all the major places associated with the life of Rani Durgavati.

Chouhan said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India’s respect in the world is continuously increasing. A new powerful and glorious India is being built. Today’s India is capable of giving a befitting reply to the rival nations. Prime Minister Modi’s policy is that we will not mess with anyone, but if someone messes with us, we will not spare them. The way India made the Covid vaccine available to the whole world in a very short time, it is a great service to humanity and Prime Minister Modi deserves thanks for this.

The Chief Minister said that development in every nook and corner of country and state, a new chapter is being written. Earlier in the state, the roads were full of potholes, there were not enough means of irrigation. Today there is a network of quality roads and the area under irrigation is continuously increasing. The government is providing all kinds of facilities to the farmers. They are being given crop loans at 0% interest. Now we will also buy summer paddy on support price. The amount of Samman Nidhi given to the farmers has also been increased to Rs. 6000 in a year, the central government gives Rs. 6000 as well, in this way now the farmer brothers will get Rs. 12 thousand in a year. Balaghat area is developing pacingly. The bhumi-pujan of the medical college will be conducted here in September.

Chouhan said that under Mukhyamantri Ladli Behna Yojana, an amount of one thousand rupees is being transferred to the accounts of sisters. In the coming time, this amount will be increased gradually to Rs 1250, 1500, 1750, 2000, 2250, 2500, 2750 and 3000 rupees. Employment opportunities are being made available in the state progressively. Recruitments on a large number of government posts are being done. The benefits of self-employment schemes are being given and now the Mukhyamantri Seekho-Kamao Yojana has been started for the youths. In this, apart from learning work, the educated youths will be given an honorarium of Rs. 8,000 to 10,000 per month.

Chief Minister Chouhan said that the government is giving laptops to meritorious children of class 12th. Scooty is being given to the nieces who come first in the schools. Now the government has decided that scooties will also be given to nephews.
