Railway Board Member (Infrastructure) Roop Narayan Sunkar on Monday reviewed the performance of East Coast Railway with respect to infrastructural development.
To improve both freight and passenger traffic movement, he stressed upon joint cooperation and mutual understanding between various agencies of the Central and State Governments and with stakeholders like industries, ports and corporate agencies.
Sunkar also reviewed the ongoing works for redevelopment of the Puri and Cuttack stations with world-class infrastructures and instructed the officials to execute the works in an exemplary manner.
ECoR General Manager Manoj Sharma, Additional GM Sharad Srivastava and Principal Heads of the Departments were present in the review meeting.
