Police on alert mode for G 20 delegates visit and festivals

Ranchi Police have come in full alert mode regarding festivals like Holi and Shab-e-Barat apart from the meeting of G20 Countries to be held in the State Capital. Ranchi SSP held a meeting with all the DySPs and SHOs of the district regarding security arrangements on Saturday. Necessary instructions were issued in this meeting regarding the security of G20, Holi and Shab-e-Barat.

Ranchi police has become fully alert regarding the meeting of G-20 Countries. Preparations are in the final stage for the reception and security of the guests coming from India and abroad. From March 1 to March 4, the security of the capital will be tight in every way. Regarding this, Ranchi SSP, Kishore Kaushal held an important meeting with all the police stations of urban and rural areas on Saturday. During the meeting, the SHOs have been instructed that they will continue to travel in their respective areas. Vehicle checking campaigns will be conducted regularly in the city every day under his supervision. Instructions have been given to keep special vigil on four wheelers as well. In the meeting, the SSP also gave instructions to the SHOs regarding the execution of the pending condos.

During the meeting of G-20 Countries, the entire Ranchi will be converted into a police cantonment. From the venue of the ceremony to the hotels where the guests will stay, a blueprint has been prepared for the security arrangements. Ranchi SSP said that a large number of police forces will be deployed for security arrangements at the venue and the hotels or places where the representatives of G-20 Countries will stay. “Adequate security arrangements will be made there too. Policemen are also being briefed continuously regarding the traffic system in the city,” he added. He said that the meeting of representatives of G20 Countries is to be held in Ranchi. A great honor for Ranchi and in such a situation, the Ranchi Police is fully prepared for the security and reception of the guests coming from India and abroad.

“Holi and Shab-e-Barat are also in the month of March itself. In such a situation, the Ranchi police are fully prepared for the security arrangements regarding Holi and Shab-e-Barat. Additional 2000 police force will be deployed across the district only for Holi and Shab-e-Barat. Apart from the Ranchi district force, ATS, Jaguar, RAF, RAP and Home Guard personnel will also be deployed for the G20 meeting,” said Koushal.

The SSP said that the deployment of these jawans will be done from the morning of March 1. After the G20 meeting ends, the rights have to remain in the capital till Holi. So that Shab-e-Barat and Holi can be completed peacefully. He said that the police have a special focus on those who spoil the environment, notices are already being sent under Section 107 after marking those who spoil the environment. Special monitoring is also being done in sensitive areas and in areas where earlier attempts have been made to vitiate the atmosphere. The police are already monitoring those places there.
