Police have started arresting those engaged in abusing CM

Police have started arresting those who raised objectionable slogans against Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan at Jamboree ground in Bhopal.

Police arrested Okendra Rana of Haryana from his house on Friday. In preliminary interrogation, Rana said that he had reached Bhopal to support the Karni Sena family's movement organized on January 8 at Jamboree ground. He had also uploaded a video of abuses against CM Shivraj Singh here on social media. Piplani police had registered a case after the video surfaced.

The Karni Sena family has distanced itself from the arrest of Okendra. Organization Minister of Karni Sena family, Shailendra Singh Jhala clarified that Okendra Rana, who abused the CM, has nothing to do with the organization. He is not even an official of the Karni Sena family, nor did we invited him.

In the preliminary investigation, so far only Okendra has been identified in the police records. The police will soon identify and arrest the other accused.

olice raided Rana's house in Bhiwani, Haryana on the intervening night of Thursday-Friday. He was sleeping at home  After his arrest, his family members released a video saying that the MP Police have taken Okendra away.

Police had sent SI Kuldeep Singh, ASI Kaushalendra Singh, Arvind, Vikas Singh Bhadauria to Haryana to arrest Rana. A four-member team reached Haryana and sought help from the local police to arrest Rana. The local police took the Bhopal police to Rana's house late at night.

On January 8, the Karni Sena family had gathered at Bhopal's Jamboree ground for their 22 demands.

 The agitation ended on Wednesday after the assurance of Cooperative Minister Arvind Bhadoria. Out of 22 demands included in the memorandum of Karni Sena family, a committee of 3 officers has been formed to consider 18 demands.
