Chhattisgarh High Court Chief Justice Ramesh Sinha said on Saturday that the three National Lok Adalats held this year have resolved a total of 11,78,357 in the state.
“With time, Lok Adalats have gained the trust of people by settling disputes effectively and amicably,” he said.
“The introduction of Lok Adalats as a component of alternative dispute resolution systems has provided a new dimension to the justice delivery system,” he said.
He said this at a meeting held to evaluate the performances of the National Lok Adalats at the Chhattisgarh High Court in Bilaspur.
The meet was organized by the Chhattisgarh Legal Services Authority and the Chhattisgarh High Court.
Sinha appreciated the commitment and dedication of the presiding judges and urged them to continue the good work for the Lok Adalat to be held on December 9.
