A group of NIT Jamshedpur students reached Ranchi township of Port Blair under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's "One India, Best India" concept, a group of tribal youths and women from Jharkhand reached Ranchi Basti, Port Blair, under the strengthening of cultural unity and identity among different states of India.
Under the important and ambitious scheme "Yuva Sangam" of the Government of India, this journey was completed. The people of Jharkhand live in large numbers in the Ranchi township of Port Blair. The tribals who migrated from Jharkhand to Port Blair years ago are keeping their civilization, culture and tradition alive. This Ranchi township of Port Blair is 300 years old. Under the Yuva Sangam campaign, 45 tribal youths are traveling to Port Blair. During their visit, the youth of Jharkhand also visited several historical places. In which the sacrificial altar, Netaji Subhash Chandra Island, new terminal airport etc. are prominent. The youth also carried out a cleanliness drive on the beach. This delegation of youth also visited Baratang. Also met the local residents known as Ranchiwalas. Studied their daily life activities, their traditions and cultural characteristics. These people came from Chhotanagpur during the British period and settled here and since then they have kept their tradition and culture alive.
