Despite the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, many IAS and IPS Officers of Jharkhand have not given the details of their personal movable and immovable assets under the Immovable Property Return (IPR). The Enforcement Directorate should check their movable and immovable properties, otherwise Jharkhandi Information Rights Forum will agitate widely, said Vijay Shankar Nayak, Central President of Jharkhandi Information Rights Forum, former MLA candidate cum Central Vice President of Tribal Moolvasi Jan Adhikar Manch.
He further said that there are many such IAS and IPS officers, who have not yet made public the details of their assets despite the orders of the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India. By asking the list of officers from the Ministry of Home Affairs, ED should check the assets of those officers so that their illegal property can be seized.
Nayak further said that since the formation of Jharkhand, the IAS and IPS officers of Jharkhand started looting the wealth and property of Jharkhand. The situation is so alarming today that if at present private movable and immovable property of all IAS and IPS Officers of the state is honestly investigated by ED, then almost 80 per cent IAS and IPS officers have assets disproportionate to their income.
He said that there is no dearth of IAS officers like Chhavi Ranjan and Pooja Singhal in Jharkhand. Time has come that all such corrupt IAS and IPS officers' private business should be investigated. Immovable properties should be investigated by ED and all their illegal private movable and immovable properties should be confiscated so that in the coming days, IAS and IPS officers in Jharkhand take a lesson and before committing corruption, they are forced to think thousands of times, not millions, before looting the wealth of Jharkhand.
