Modi to virtually interact with over 10 crore people

Saturday, 24 June 2023 | PNS | Lucknow

The Bharatiya Janata Party is gearing up to create history as Prime Minister Narendra Modi prepares to interact with over 10 crore people spread across 10 lakh booths in a virtual interaction on June 27 as part of the ‘Mera Booth-Sabse Mazboot’ programme.

BJP national general secretary Sunil Bansal announced that the programme will kick off on June 26, with party national president JP Nadda engaging with vistaraks in Bhopal. The first phase, scheduled for June 27, will see Prime Minister Narendra Modi address over 3,000 party office-bearers in Bhopal.

Bansal said, “The second phase will involve the telecast of Modi’s dialogue across all organisational bodies, ensuring the participation of public representatives, office-bearers and workers. This inclusive approach aims to engage a wide range of individuals within the party.”

Furthermore, Bansal revealed that the prime minister may also interact with workers from specific regions, aiming to enhance engagement and inclusivity. The third phase will follow a format similar to the popular ‘Mann Ki Baat’ programme, fostering a more intimate and interactive session.

The campaign emphasises the active involvement of party workers in strengthening their respective booths through their enthusiastic participation.

Bansal also urged the submission of reports on the contacts made with 1,000 enlightened individuals in each Lok Sabha constituency. This is part of the ongoing house-to-house contact campaign running from June 23 to 30, seeking to establish direct communication with citizens.

Expressing satisfaction with the success of all programmes organised under the Maha Jansampark Abhiyan in Uttar Pradesh, Bansal commended the efforts of party members involved in the campaign.

Party state general secretary (organisation) Dharampal Singh emphasised the importance of a micro-planned approach during the door-to-door contact campaign, scheduled to run from June 23 to June 30. Singh stressed the significance of connecting with every individual and urged the active involvement of district in-charges within their respective districts during this period.

As part of the ‘Sampark se Samarthan’ campaign, officials have been assigned to meet 1,000 distinguished individuals in each Lok Sabha constituency. Following the interactions, photographs of these meetings will be uploaded on the app to showcase the engagement.

“The BJP’s virtual dialogue on the digital platform will mark a historic milestone in Indian politics. No political party or organisation has ever conducted such a massive virtual interaction, potentially reaching an astounding 10 crore people simultaneously. The BJP is poised to establish a remarkable record, setting new standards for engagement and connectivity with the Indian population,” said state BJP vice-president Vijay Bahadur Pathak.
