Prime Minister Narendra Modi was accorded grand welcome on his arrival at Maharishi Valmiki international airport in Ayodhya on Saturday. The prime minister last visited the Ram Nagri during Deepotsav last year.
Modi led an impressive road show after leaving the airport, receiving an unprecedented welcome from the people of Ayodhya.
Many dignitaries were present upon his arrival, including Governor Anandi Ben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Union Ministers Jyotiraditya Scindia and VK Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, and Bharatiya Janata Party State President Chaudhary Bhupendra Singh.
