The DNA report of Mirchi Baba alias Vairagyanand Giri, who is in jail on charges of rape, has come negative. That is, Baba’s samples have not matched with the victim’s samples, after which his lawyer has said that he will soon go to the Supreme Court for bail. Here, Baba is kept in Barrack-17 of Central Jail Bhopal.

Jail Superintendent Rakesh Bhangre said that most of Baba's time is spent in turning the garland. He lives decently now. He wakes up in the morning and worships in the temple built inside the jail. After this he goes to the barracks. All the under trial prisoners are in his barracks. Baba is in jail for 8 months and 8 days.

About two months back, the police had taken him from jail to Jaypee Hospital. Where, medical samples of the victim and Baba were taken for DNA.

Let us tell you that on August 8, 2022, a 28-year-old woman from Raisen lodged a case of rape and threats against Mirchi Baba alias Vairagyanand Giri. After which he was arrested from Gwalior. Since then Baba has been in the Central Jail of Bhopal.

Mirchi Baba's lawyer Shrikrishna Dhonsela says- During the police investigation, the DNA sample of the accused was taken at Jaypee Hospital in Bhopal. At the same time Baba was called from jail and a blood sample was taken. He had given all those samples in the forensic investigation.

All those reports have been found negative. They haven't been able to match. This will help in the case that Baba was politically implicated.

About five months ago, the police presented a 566-page challan in the Bhopal court. Out of these, 414 pages are of call details of Baba's phone.
