Superintendent of Police Lohardaga today said that the police had received secret information that an unknown person was roaming with a weapon in Serengdag district Lohardaga from village Bidni police station. On the basis of the information, the police took major action. One accused has been arrested, taking necessary action on the basis of secret information under the leadership of police station incharge Serengdag and a special team of Set 76 armed forces, Mohammad Saheb Bhatt, aged about 26 years, father Noor Mohammad Shakeen Khadiya Para.
He has been arrested with a country-made pistol from near Gausnagar police station and district Gumla, in this regard a case has been registered under Serengdag police station case number 8/23 dated 17 September 2023 under Section 25 (1-B) A/26 Arms Act. Several cases are registered against the arrested accused in Gumla police station, who was arrested by the police and sent to jail.
