School annual day celebrated
New Delhi: St Gregorios school, Dwarka celebrated its annual day on October 19, bringing the parents, students and management on a common platform to showcase the talents of their young wards. Prof. John Varghese, Principal of St Stephen's College was the chief guest. "There was a stellar cultural fusion by the students and meritorious students were honoured," said a teacher of the school. Dr. Manoj Kumar, School Principal congratulated the efforts of the management, staff, students and parents. He also briefed the audience about the status of the school by presenting the annual report.
Gargi College to hold national conference
New Delhi: Delhi University Gargi College, an A+ NAAC accredited and DBT Star Status accorded institution, has taken a lead for fulfilling the objectives of the NEP 2020 Policy by spearheading a National Conference on the National Education Policy titled 'National Education Policy 2020: Perspectives, Challenges and the Way Forward' on November 3, 2023. The guests of honour for the inaugural session include the former Education minister, Dr Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, the UGC chairman, Prof. M Jagadesh Kumar, and Deans and administrative heads of the University of Delhi, besides the Chairman and the Principal of the college, according to a Press note.
Swachh Bharat 3.0 campaign held
New Delhi: Dr Rajendra Prasad Kendriya Vidyalaya has conducted the Special Campaign 3.0 from October 02 to 31, 2023 focusing primarily on cleaning activities at inside and outside school premises. To ensure the implementation of Swachh Bharat 3.0 campaign in its true spirit, cleaning activities were conducted to clean classrooms, almirahs, switchboards, toilets, canteen, garden, backyards inside and outside of Vidyalaya premise. According to a statement, the school has also taken praiseworthy initiative to distribute fruits instead of chocolates or any other stuff which is wrapped in plastic-based material on the birthdays of students. The winners of all extra-curricular activities are given Steel Bottles, Jute Bags and many other eco-friendly items as prizes.
Government initiatives hailed

Initiatives such as 'Make in India', GST reforms, and ease of doing business policies," said Khetan at the event graced by Union Law Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal and other legal luminaries.
