Even as the name of the new Haryana Director General of Police (DGP) remains in suspense, the outgoing DGP PK Agrawal on Monday was given a warm send-off during the specially organised function at Haryana Police Acadamy in Madhuban.
RC Mishra, the 1989 batch IPS and managing director of Haryana Police Housing Corporation (HPHC) and Shatrujeet SIngh Kapoor, director general of vigilance bureau, two out of three officers whose names figured in the panel of three officers could not make it to the venue. However, DGP prisons Muhammad Akil who is the third officer of the penal was present with other officers of the forces including ADGP (CID) Alok Mittal and ADGP (law and order) Mamta Singh and other officers of the range and headquarters.
As Agrawal attains superannuation on Tuesday, his farewell function was organized on Monday. Speaking on the occasion Agrawal emphasized the value of good intentions and expressed his belief that genuine intentions and honesty are universally appreciated. He underscored the importance of credibility and noble purpose in the life of a police officer, asserting that possessing these qualities equips an officer to confront even the most formidable challenges.
