Honorarium of interns in the CMYIPDP to be increased

Besides important decisions, the State Cabinet has also taken several important decisons on Wednesday. It approved the amendment in the ‘Mukhya Mantri Youth Internship for Professional Development Programme’ CMYIPDP programme in accordance with the announcement of Chief Minister Chouhan in the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis under the Department of Public Service Management.

The honorarium of interns in the CMYIPDP programme will be increased from Rs 8,000 to Rs 10,000 per month. The appointment of interns will now be done at the block level as well as at the panchayat level.

Along with this, the Council of Ministers has decided to replace the amendment in paragraph VIII of the order issued on May 13, 2021, of Public Service Management regarding amendment in the provision for appointment to the post of Chief Executive Officer in Atal Bihari Vajpayee Institute of Good Governance and Policy Analysis, Bhopal.

The Cabinet has granted approval of Rs 338 crore 83 lakh 6 thousand for the construction works of 11 higher secondary school buildings under the C.M. Rise scheme under the Tribal Affairs Department. It may be noted that in the first phase, 95 schools have been selected as CM Rise Schools in the Tribal Affairs Department. Out of this, construction work is to be done for total 11 schools in Dhar, Mandla, Jhabua, Betul, Alirajpur, Khargone and Ratlam districts.

The Cabinet has decided to pay an honorarium of Rs.100 per handpump per month instead of Rs.75 per handpump for a maximum of 120 handpumps to the TRYSEM handpump technician under Public Health Engineering Department.

The Cabinet decided to give administrative approval to 2 revised group water supply schemes costing Rs 2,002 crore 62 lakh and 29 new group water supply schemes costing Rs 15,995 crore 98 lakh for implementation by Public Health Engineering Department through Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam.

The Cabinet has approved to grant Rs 40 crore 19 lakh 96 thousand after revising Rs 35 crore 30 lakh, on the same conditions for the construction of a new airstrip with private public participation and other related constructions such as boundary wall, two helipads, one hangar, administrative building, staff quarters and shifting of power line instead of building/developing airport located at Singraulia in district Singrauli.

The Cabinet has given revised administrative approval for the construction of a high level bridge on Narmada river in Narmadapuram district on Obaidullaganj-Narmadapuram-Nagpur road costing Rs 129 crore 68 lakh.

The Cabinet ratified the order issued by the department on 30 March 2023 in connection with the instructions given by Chief Minister Chouhan regarding increasing the prize money given by the state government to the permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh, Shaurya Alankaran Series, War Service Medal Series and Special Service Category medal recipients.
