Garhwa Deputy Commissioner Shekhar Jamuar inspected the ongoing development schemes at Budha Pahar of Bargarh block on Wednesday. During this, the DC also interacted with the villagers of Budha village and Jhaul Dera village to know their problems and directed the officials concerned to solve them immediately.
It was told by some beneficiaries that they are not getting the amount of pension on time under social security pension. On this the DC directed the concerned officer to pay the amount of pension without any delay. He also asked the officer to cooperate regarding the withdrawal of funds from the bank. So that the amount of pension can be provided to them on time. Apart from this, necessary instructions were given after inspecting the works related to the solar-based power supply scheme at Budha Pahad.
After talking to the villagers, in view of the need, instructions were given to approve other schemes including well construction under MGNREGA. The beneficiaries who have been approved for PM housing were instructed to get their houses constructed and those who have not got the houses so far were directed to approve the houses.
The DC also distributed food packets among the villagers on the spot. During this, he was accompanied by Sub-Divisional Officer Ranka Ramnarayan Singh, Executive Engineer Rural Works Department Dharmendra Kumar, Executive Engineer Drinking Water and Sanitation Division Pradeep Kumar, BDO Bargarh Vipin Kumar, Circle Officer Bhandaria Madan Mahali and DPM JSLPS Sushil Kumar Das, ASP Vivekananda and CRPF officials.
