Bhopal: Fly over Bridge will be built in Bairagarh (Sant Hirdaram Nagar) of Bhopal with a cost of Rs 27 crore benefitting about 5 lakh population. The work started on Wednesday in the presence of the Brigadier and the MLA. The work is claimed to be completed by the next 7 months i.e., November-23.
Flyover construction work at Sant Hirdaram Nagar Phatak Road 3 EME Center was inaugurated in the presence of Brigadier SS Chhillar and MLA Rameshwar Sharma. MLA Sharma said that the construction of this flyover to be built with 27 crores is necessary for the 3 EME Center Army as much as it is necessary for the local population. The width of the said flyover will be 12 metres. A total of 25 pillars will be constructed.
In February, Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan had performed Bhumi Pujan. Colonel Narayan Parwani, President of Navyuvak Sabha and Educationist Vishnu Gehani, President of Pujya Sindhi Panchayat Sabumal Rizwani were also present during the commencement of the construction work.
MLA Sharma said that the design of the bridge is such that only a few shops will have to be demolished Along with this, those whose shops are to be demolished, they should be given free of cost a shop 1.5 times bigger with 10 feet road under the flyover. Arrangements will also be made for temporary displacement to ensure that the livelihood of the shopkeepers continues during the construction period.
