General Manager, East Central Railway, Anupam Sharma, inspected the ongoing doubling work between Singrauli and Mahdia on Thursday. After this inspection was done from Mahdia to Sigsigi via Garhwa.
In this sequence, he inspected the completed works and ongoing construction works under the Ramna-Singrauli doubling project. During this, the General Manager took an in-depth review of various aspects related to safety including railway tracks, rail bridges, signaling system, level crossing gates, points and crossings. Along with this, the cleanliness and passenger facilities of the stations falling on the route were also inspected. During the inspection, the General Manager discussed loading with the higher officials of Hindalco at Renukoot. Divisional Railway Manager, Dhanbad and officers of Construction Organization and IRCON were involved during the inspection.
