Corruption is rampant in Madhya Pradesh: Anand

Wednesday, 08 November 2023 | Staff Reporter | Bhopal

Madhya Pradesh, the largest state of India, has played a historical role in the country's freedom struggle. Madhya Pradesh has given very talented leaders to this country of India. But while talking to everyone in general, I felt very sad to hear that there is a lot of corruption in the BJP government here, Vyapam, Nursing, Patwari scam is in front of us today, they did not even spare God, they did scam in Ujjain Mahakal Lok said Former Union Minister and senior Congress leader Anand Sharma said the above things in a press conference held at the State Congress Headquarters on Tuesday.

A video of the country's Agriculture Minister Shri Tomar ji's son worth Rs 100 crore has come out but the Prime Minister is silent. Today there is no institution left in the country which is not being misused and is being used only to suppress the opposition leaders.

Anand said that by toppling our government in 2020, Shivraj Singh Chouhan had formed the government by stealth for the fourth time. The Prime Minister is coming to Madhya Pradesh for the 13th time, but his visit will not have any impact here.

He said that after talking to common people and workers, it becomes clear that BJP is nervous from within. Because she knows that she is losing the elections this time, she has sent three ministers from the Center here to contest the elections.

Sharma said that when the Congress government comes to power in Madhya Pradesh, we will implement the old pension scheme for the government employees of Madhya Pradesh like Karnataka and Himachal, we will waive off the loans of farmers up to Rs 2 lakh, like we did in 2018.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is an agricultural state, but is number one in malnutrition. Today India's rank in the Hunger Index is 111. Today the government is not run by the poor but by the capitalists. Malnutrition has increased in the country and Modi ji is asking for votes.

Talking about the culture of Congress, Sharma said that we follow the thinking and ideology of Mahatma Gandhi, Sardar Patel and all our great leaders. But the Prime Minister of our country questions our blood, whereas we neither believe nor have our values in doing this kind of politics. He said that the country is experiencing since 2014 that promises are made and promises are not kept. The Prime Minister is making new promises in Madhya Pradesh, while not talking about the promises made by his central government.

He said that Madhya Pradesh is number one in schools run by a teacher in Madhya Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh is number 17 in the field of health in the entire country, Madhya Pradesh is number one in atrocities on tribals. 23.6 percent youth are unemployed in Madhya Pradesh, BJP talks big, but the investor summit they had organized and crores of rupees were spent in its name. Why are you not giving account of what you wasted?

Sharma said that we will waive off the loans of farmers up to Rs 2 lakh, we will give Rs 1500 per month to women through Nari Samman Nidhi, Rs 500 will be given to domestic gas cylinders. I am going to do the work of giving. The old pension scheme will be implemented and free school education will be provided to children through the Padhao Padhao scheme, we are going to provide 100 units of free electricity and the electricity bill of 100 units will be halved.

We have implemented the Old Pension Scheme in Himachal Pradesh and 3 lakh employees in Himachal are getting benefits from it. We will implement this scheme in Madhya Pradesh also. He said that we do not face false allegations like BJP, you can see that today all the allegations against Congress have been proved false. Congress does not have to give its account from 2014 to 2024, it has to be given to BJP, it was their government.
