The Congress in Chhattisgarh will take out a day-long ‘Bharosa Yatra’ (Trust March) in all 90 Assembly constituencies on Monday to tell people about the government's welfare schemes.
During the march, to be held on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, the ruling party will say that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cheated people during its 15-year rule (2003-18), the party said.
Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, his cabinet colleagues, Congress MLAs and MPs will take part in the march.
The yatra, to be taken out on four-wheelers and motorcycles, will cover a distance of 25-30 km in each constituency.
Assembly elections in Chhattisgarh are due this year-end.
